"Hi I took your seminar over the summer and recently PASSED the notary exam. All thanks to you! Overall, the exam was straight forward. Instruct your students to familiarize themselves with: definitions of terms, penal law questions on class D and E Felonies, understand the differences between affidavit and acknowledgement, jurat vs. venue and know the schedule of fees involved. Many questions were redundant, they tried to throw you off asking you the same type of question in a different way. Example, I had a few questions on the meaning of jurat. "I am just emailing you to let you know that I took the review class on August 13 and then the following Wednesday I took the Notary Exam and got my "Passed Slip" on August 20, 2003. I found the exam pretty easy. Most of the questions that was on the practice exam booklet were repeated on the actual exam and ofcourse the six questions did show up. I must admit that when I walked into the waiting room for the exam I saw these big study guides that people where looking into but reading all those highlighted information covered in the review class and doing these questions did the job. I just want to say even though I was familiar with some law terms from studying business law taking your review class anyone can pass the exam.
